The First Week of School - Letter from the Principal

Dearest Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to the new school year at Pierre Elliott Trudeau! If you are returning, welcome back. If you are new to our school, we are glad to have you join our P.E.T. Family, and we know that you are going to enjoy being part of this vibrant school community! Your children will receive an outstanding education this year.

 Please find below important information concerning the 2019-2020 school year: 

• ALL eligible students will receive their school BUS PASS at home, after August 20th, 2019, directly from the EMSB;
• Parents are asked to bring in their child's school fees (sec school fees letter for your child's amount) & payment for lunch fees prior to or on September 13th, 2019.

 Pre-K & Kindergarten PROGRESSIVE ENTRY

• Progressive entry for your child will be on the given day assigned to your child, either Sept. 3rd, 4th, or 5th.
  • On that day, students in Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten are to bring their school supplies and attend school for two hours, from 8 to 10am.
  • Students are expected to go home at 10 a.m. and are to ONLY return to school on Friday, Sept. 6th, to start regular full day classes.
• For Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten students, DAYCARE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE as of Friday, Sept. 6th.

 Levels 1 to 6

• Students in levels 1 to 6 return to school on Tues. Sept. 3rd, for a FULL Day of school with their school supplies; Daycare is available.
