Thank you to PPO and parent donations for the delicious treats and meal for Staff Appreciation Week. Our school is what it is because of the entire community. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding staff at PET! Their dedication and hard work make our school a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our students and parents for the kindness and appreciation you show our staff each day. Our school thrives because of the strong sense of community we share. Your trust, cooperation, and support are invaluable, and we appreciate all that you do to contribute to our students' success. Thank you for being an essential part of our PET family!
I am including this message again in this newsletter regarding the frigid temperatures and recess times, which is a school board policy. While we want the students to get out at recess times to run around the yard and have fun, we must also be careful when temperatures become frigid. At recesses, lunchtime, and during daycare, if the temperature dips to -20 degrees Celsius, when making the decision, the following are taken into consideration: sunshine or lack thereof, wind /intensity thereof, wind chill index, time of day (after school when sun is going down), amount of time spent outside. As such, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately to go outdoors. The final decision is made by administration. We appreciate your confidence in us when we make decisions.
A reminder to kindly use Mozaik or call the school to report your child’s absence by 8:30 am.
Please check your child’s health daily and inform the school of any concerns or diagnoses.
Check your child’s agenda daily.
The PPO’s SEEDS Fundraiser ends on Mon. March 3. Make your purchase online at https://links.fermetournesol.qc.ca/THD6
