Parent Newsletter | June 2021
Dearest Parents & Guardians,
We made it…it’s the last month of the school year! We started off the year with so many uncertainties and unknowns, adapted to rules and regulations, yet all the while ensuring our students receive the incredible education as always and ensured everyone’s safety. The students’ smiles and love, and your continuous support are what helped us through it all. THANK YOU!
We have a fun month planned out our staff and students! Every Friday is a fun-themed day: Beach Hat Day, Sunglasses Day, & Beach Shirt Day! On the last day of classes, June 23, we will have a day of fun activities! So please continue to assess your child’s health every morning and evening. If your child will be tested for Covid, please inform the school. If it is during the evening or weekend, please email petrudeau@emsb.q.ca immediately.
The weather changes often, as such please dress your child appropriately for the day. Layers is always a good choice. Please provide your child with at least 2 water bottles per day.
There are two parent workshops being offered that were emailed to you all. Beyond a Deep Breath: Mindfulness Based on Stress Management & Anxiety Prevention on Tuesday, June 1, at 7pm. For Grade 6 parents: Transition to High School on Monday, June 7th, at 7pm. Please refer to the flyers emailed to you.
Students and staff will be treated to a Beavertail treat on Fri. June 18th. The food truck will be at school in the afternoon.
Mme Arianne and our PET students have prepared a spring concert that will celebrate the end of the year! Mark your calendar for June 18th at 7pm. More information to follow.

The last day of school is Wed. June 23, where Fun Day Activities will be organized. Our Pre-cycle classes will celebrate their Moving-On Activity. The end-of-year report card will be available on June 23 through Mozaik.
On behalf of the entire PET Staff, thank you for all your support during this challenging year. We wish you all a safe, happy and healthy summer. Stay safe and be well!
