Back to School Information for Parents | Kindergarten 4 & 5 Progressive Entry

Dearest Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to the new school year at Pierre Elliott Trudeau! If you are returning, welcome back. If you are new to our school, we are glad to have you join our P.E.T. Family, and we know that you are going to enjoy being part of this vibrant school community! Your children will receive an outstanding education this year.

Please find below important information concerning the 2024-2025 school year:

• All eligible students will receive their school BUS PASS at home, before the start of school, directly from the EMSB. Should you not receive your bus pass by August 26, please contact the school;
• Progressive entry for your child will be on the given day assigned to your child, either Thursday, August 29, Friday, August 30 or Tuesday, September 3.
  - On that day, students in K4 or K5 are to bring their school supplies and attend school for two hours, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Entrance from the Daycare Entrance on rue Chabot.
  - Students are expected to go home at 11 a.m. and are to only return to school on Wednesday, Sept. 4, to start a regular full day of classes from 7:25 am to 2:20 pm.
• For K4 & K5 students, DAYCARE SERVICES WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE as of Wednesday, September 4.
• Parents are asked to send in their child's school fees and lunch fees each with a separate cheque (see school fees letter and lunch fees letter for your child's amount) prior to or on September 13, 2024). Please indicate your child’s name and homeroom in the memo on the cheque. You can come to school to make your payment by cash, debit or credit card from 8 to 11 am, 12:30 to 2 pm.
