Dearest Parents & Guardians,
Wow! It is the last month of school! I am always shocked when writing the June newsletter. First off, thank you so much for all your trust, support, and cooperation. It has been an encouraging year, as we slowly started back to have a regular school year! This is fantastic! Only good things are to come!
Congratulations to Ms Alexandra, Daniela, Ms Jennifer, Ms Sara, Ms Angie and Ms Mara for their 25 years of service with the EMSB! Thank you for all your work, dedication and care!
The classroom visits to the school library have now ended. As such, all books are to be returned by Friday June 2nd. A fee will be issued for all lost books and those not returned.
PET performed extremely well at the annual GMAA Halo Race, which we ran on May 11. Congratulations to all participants! Congratulations to our 7 winners Grade 3- Jayden for 1st place, Grade 4- Jaycob for 1st place and Massimo for 2nd place, Grade 5- Marianne for 1st place and Auguste for 2nd place, Grade 6- Nolan for 1st place and Minna for 2nd place! A very big thank you to Ms Patty and Mr Max for training our grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 students for this race!
Thank you to all for the $286.90 raised for the Denim Day dress down day!
Thank you to all who supported the Spring Basket Raffle. We raised $1114.15! All proceeds will go to the PPO fund. Congratulations to Leiticia in Grade 6 for winning the basket!
The Grade 6 Math exam will take place on Tuesday, June 6 through to Thursday, June 8. Once again, parents please ensure that students are at school every day and are on time.
Please ensure that your students arrive to school on time at the bell for 7:25am. We are at the end of the term and school year, evaluations and assessments are ongoing.
The end of year report cards will be available on the last day of school, Thursday, June 22. For students from K5 to Grade 6, you can access them through Mozaik portal. K4 reports will be handed out to each student.
Health forms for the 2023-2024 school year have been sent home and are asked to be returned by the end of this week. This to be better prepared for the beginning of the school year. Thank you for your cooperation.
A reminder that students must be in dress code; solid navy blue or solid white tops/sweatshirts are permitted. The weather changes often, as such please dress your child appropriately for the day. Please provide your child with at least 1 water bottle per day. They can refill it at the water fountain.
Le Doral has been approved to be the meal supplier for next year’s hot meals.
