The EMSB promotes integration, however for students that need additional support to develop their individual goals and achievement, we provide reduced ratio self-contained classes.
The decision to place a student in a self-contained class occurs only after a case conference is held with the student's parents, teachers, and professionals via a case-conference.
If you are a parent of a child with special needs, please contact the school in your area and the Multi-Disciplinary Team of that school can assess your child's needs.
